Betul: A poet’s paradise

Betul is a municipality and city located within the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Betul as it is known today was once during the earlier part of the 20th century was called Badnur. However, it derived its present name from the surrounding district that was given to the former HQ at Betul Bazaar present to the south of the city about 5 kilometers.
