Steps to Cancel Booked Counter Train Ticket

Here is the process to cancel the Passenger Reservation System(PRS) counter ticket. There is no need for internet service in order to cancel train ticket Online booked at the counter, just take a phone in hand and dial 139 number, and then you will hear a list of features that can be used by selecting one option in it. But here for cancellation of booked counter ticket, the person need to choose the option 6 from the main menu that was delivered from Interactive Voice Recorder (IVR). Once after selecting the option the passenger will receive One Time Password (OTP) to confirm the cancellation and then the ticket will be canceled automatically. Once after the cancellation, the person needs to visit the counter within the limited period to get the refund amount from the station. Please note that the amount will be refunded only for the cancellation ticket confirmed through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) and also make sure that this cancellation system is not applicable for late running trains.
