Himalayan ski resort is named by Auli and one of the attractive hill station located in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. It also known as Auli Bugyal, in Garhwali,which means “meadow”. It is actually located high level of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) to 3,050 metres (10,010 ft) above sea level. Auli is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, plus the Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains. It is one of the most popular tourist places to visit in Auli. Mostly persons visit the only for enjoying Shopping, nightlife. The north portion of Auli blessed with the colorful badrinath Temple, a hindu pilgrimage site, and the Valley of Flowers National Park, with its alpine flora and wildlife like snow leopards and red foxes.

How to reach auli from delhi – By Train
As we all know that Indian railways is very safe to travel. Most of the travellers prefer train journey. From New Delhi to Auli overall distance is approx 495 kms. There is no railway station in Auli so, Rishikesh is the nearest Railway station, at a distance of 148 kms from Auli. You can refer any vehicle from Rishikesh to joshimath, overall distance is 255 kms approx , After having 8 – 9 hours of journey . From Joshimath to Auli many vehicles are available you can refer bus , taxis which is very easyily available from their, Only 16 kms distance is there from Joshimath to Auli hardly it will take 1 Hour .

Firstly of all, you will go ISBT bus stand , visit their Uttrakhand roadway Bus service , book ticket from there to Dehradun bus that will directly drop to near Auli . Cabs were easily available from Joshimath to Auli.

How to reach auli from delhi – By Car
Overall it will take atleast 5 days to complete whole trip, 487 kms is the actual road distance from Delhi to Auli. As we all know auli is famous for snow falls and skiing, so the best time of visit would be from january to March to enjoy winter sports basiacally to enjoy all joyfull activities. Route Followed To Reach Rishikesh:
Delhi-Ghaziabad-ModiNagar-Meerut-Khatauli-Muzaffarnagar-Roorkee-Haridwar-Rishikesh
The road distance between Rishikesh and Joshimath is around 270 km. It took me 9 hours to reach Joshimath. Auli is located at a distance of 16 km from Joshimath by road. You have to leave my car behind in the parking area of Rope Way Park.Covering a distance of 4 km, the cable ride offered a magnificent view of the Himalayas. As such, the cable car can accommodate up to 25 passengers. The operators would not start the ride until they have at least ten people on board. It took about 25 to 35 minutes of cable riding to reach Auli.
