Howrah railway station is the oldest railway station in city of Kolkata. It holds 23 platforms and it has the most astounding train-taking care of limit of any track station in India; and is one of the busiest line stations regarding traveler capacity for every day.Earlier the city came under the Bengali Kingdom from “Bhurshut” earlier in 1578 it was known as Buttor.
